Deer Creek & Susquehanna Railroad
This was the third model railroad to be built in a basement room of Paul Wooddell's home, only the second of which was in HO scale. This layout was a joint effort between Paul and his son, Scott, over a period of 10+ years. It is the HO-scale version of the same N-scale railroad that Scott has built in his home. It depicts a line that was proposed, but never built, as a Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad branch line from Bel Air to Stafford, MD to service the farms and several industries along the route. The layouts imagine what the railroad may have looked like by the middle of the 20th century.
