About Us

Harford Associates for Railroad Modeling, HARM for short, is an informal group of model railroad enthusiasts that live in or near Harford County, Maryland. We have been meeting every Tuesday evening for approximately 50 years to operate each others' model railroads, work on projects, socialize, and generally support each other in this hobby. Group members cover scales N through G and are active in the NMRA as well as other local clubs. Our intention is to utilize this website to share our modeling with others.

Mission Statement

Our mission in HARM is to support and encourage other members in building and operating their model railroads; to provide a setting for the exchange of ideas and techniques concerning the hobby; to promote fellowship between model railroaders and group members; and grow awareness of, and interest in, model railroading within the community.
