Alan Anderson received a third place award for Grimm's Funeral Home in a contest sponsored by Downtown Deco. The building was constructed by Alan Anderson and Dave Renard.

Deep Run RR 2-6-0 no. 63 switches the sawmill in the railroad's namesake town. The injection-molded plastic locomotive is a Japanese prototype modified by Garry Cerrone. Paul Dolkos photographed the scene on Steve Fisher's On30 Deep Run RR. Steve lives in Fallston, MD.
HARM Revisited Article
HARM Revisited, a story about several HARM layouts by Dave Renard was published in the May 2006 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman magazine. Eight photos from Alan Anderson's layout, six from Dave Renard's layout and one from Ken Meyer's layout are featured.
Scale Rails - Convention Layout Visits
The NMRA's Scale Rails published pictures from Alan Anderson's and Dave Renard's layouts in the December 2005 issue for promotion of the Independence Junction Convention layout tours. Dave's brief article on a slide-away DCC programming track was included here and on the cover is Alan's photo of his Stoufus Hardware Company, a collaborative effort of Dave and Alan on a Fine Scale Miniatures kit.
